How to start a business of Bar/Pub or nightclub in Agadir(Morocco).?
i want to start a business of Bar/Pub or nightclub in Agadir(Morocco).?? what step i should consider to go for it??can i rent some building to start this or i should buy it??is there any web which could give me information about requirements to start business?? any web of those business which r for sale in moroccor specially in the city of Agadir???inform me well pleaseee
Well, well, well... I know many clubs, bar and pubs in Agadir... and who said that alcohol is forbidden in Morocco?
It is not forbidden by law and you can go and drink whatever you want almost everywhere in Agadir, as well as buy in the supermarkets, etc.
One thing is homebodies’ religious beliefs. Yes, it´s true that many Muslims reject alcohol, but many others do not.
I mean you go to the famous discotheque at the Sofitel (it´s called “So”) and there are always more Moroccans than tourists, men and women, dancing, drinking, smoking… it really depends how religious somebody is or not.
I have been in Agadir many times and it´s like being in Europe, you can do what you want to do (without offending others and without breaking the laws of course) and you won´t have any problem there.
I have many good friends in Morocco and we actually are regarding a possibility to start a business there.
But mine has to do with tourism and excursion programs in Morocco.
Anyway, it´s difficult to get the right connections if you don´t know anybody and if you don´t speak the language and don´t know how to approach the right people at the right time.
If you would opt for a Moroccan partner (best would be somebody from Agadir), things would be much easier and faster.
I mean, Moroccans are helpful and nice people, but it´s like everywhere else in the world: If you want to build up a business you need a helping hand from somebody who knows where to go, with whom to talk and what to do.
Anyway, go on with your plan!
I know that Morocco will have a big future regarding tourism and only regarding round trips, aslo sun & beach vacations, and that´s why Agadir will grow exceptionally during the next years and in 10 years I am sure that Agadir will be more popular than the Canary Islands.
So I would say, that you have to take the risk, as on the long run you will have a fabulous business there.
Look for a Moroccan partner and raise it 50% - 50%.
